Mother's Day 2026

When your mother is 96 years old and Mother's Day is coming up, you have a decision to make: have flowers delivered or deliver them yourself. For me, that choice was easy. The flight was booked, and off I went.

I took my mom on her favorite drives around town, to her favorite restaurants, and of course, no trip home would be complete without our annual beach photo. It didn't take much to keep her smiling and laughing the whole time, all I really had to do was show up.

Time goes by fast. Enjoy every minute.
