The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show

Radio promo guys, they're just like us. They pick up the kids from school, they clean up the mess in the basement when it floods from the rain, they enter their best buddy in the Westminster Dog Show…wait what? I've never done that. Have you? That's exactly what Crush Music's Erik Olesen did last weekend. This week's Out & About features Erik showcasing his best boy Sonny at arguably the most prestigious and most watched canine event in the country, The West Minster Kennel Club Dog Show!!! We can't describe how exciting it was to participate in this event, so we're going to let Erik describe it himself.
"CH Beau's It's Always Sonny In Cos Cob punched his ticket to the Big Dance earlier this year and got a chance to run with the Big Dogs and some of the best Bulldogs in the country today at The Westminster Dog Show. For us, this was like Fairfield University going to the NCAA tournament and getting a 1-seeded Duke team….Sonny and his handler Chet Spraski were magnificent together. We got nothing but it was great to be a part of the "Show"! Special thanks to our breeder Sue Beaupre, The Bulldog Club of New England, and our amazing handler, Chet Spraski."
Congratulations to Erik, his family, and especially Sonny for a magical weekend they won't soon forget. When he arrived back from the event it was time for Erik to get back to the Crush Music offices and get back to it. He's currently working Fall Out Boy "Love From The Other side" to radio and setting up the next track "Hold Me Like A Grudge". If you're a radio programmer and are in the position to add Fall Out Boy, please do so. Gas money to these dog shows ain't cheap!!!
