We had been talking about it for the better part of two years, and then finally the stars aligned, the stage was set, and the very first What’s In-Store Music Live at Sunset featuring Remy Reilly became a reality.

It was a perfect Southern California evening filled with industry friends, musicians, and artists, all gathered for a night of music starring Dallas's own Remy Reilly. Fresh off a huge night at the Dallas Music Awards, where she took home Songwriter of the Year, Best Pop Song, and Best Pop Artist, and with her current single, "Ricochet," playing overhead in retailers more than 6,500 times each week, it was time for Remy to come to Los Angeles and show everyone what all the buzz was about. She did not disappoint.

The crowd was split almost evenly between those who had seen Remy perform before and those experiencing her for the very first time. By the end of the evening, one thing was abundantly clear, everyone in attendance had become a fan.

She had the audience in the palm of her hand from the opening song, delivering standout performances of "What Do You Know," "Ricochet," "Dirty Work," and my personal favorite of the night, "Half Priced Books." With her haunting vocals, percussive guitar style, engaging stage presence, and effortless charm, what wasn't to love?

The next night, Remy took the stage at the iconic Peppermint Club before heading back to Texas to perform for a packed crowd at FIFA Fan Fest. If her performances that weekend were any indication, there's no doubt this rising star is just getting started.
