At the MIT Tech Reunion - 2025.

MIT Tech Reunion 2025 recently got a dose of science and soul as Dr. Kelvin Frazier PhD '15 - chemist, educator, and Billboard-charting R&B artist - stepped out from behind the lab bench and into the spotlight. The event, inspired by Slice of MIT's feature "Chemist Gets Great Reaction as R&B Artist," celebrated Frazier's remarkable dual life in both academia and music. Guests were treated to an intimate performance of his smooth R&B hits, including his Billboard single "Marked and Scarred," alongside stories from his journey - from earning his PhD in chemistry at MIT to teaching in Hawaii and pursuing his passion for music at Berklee College of Music.

The evening pulsed with energy and inspiration, proving that innovation thrives wherever creativity takes root - whether in the lab, the classroom, or under stage lights.

Make sure to keep an ear out for Kelvin's new holiday song, "Christmas My Favorite Time of Year", as it plays overhead in retailers while you're out and about.
