Holiday for Bells by Antherius

Greetings all, Antherius here – a Houston, Texas native who is a one-man “do-it-all” composer, performer, arranger, engineer, and producer. My professional music career began in 2006.

Holiday Bells (Remix 2023) was originally released by Bert Kaempfert in 1963 and was a familiar Christmas favorite through the late 1980’s although it mysteriously fell out of rotation in recent decades. My first cover of this tune was found on my 2017 “Distant Christmas” album, but I felt that composition needed some polishing. So, I spent several months earlier this year to improve it with this recent release. The lead sounds are bells of course, with choir and string accompaniments. The mid-section features a Theremin instrument in place of the trumpet in Bert’s track along with an upbeat rhythm.
