"I wanted to try something new and fresh sounding with my first single back. I fell in love with Afrobeat recently and just the fusion of instruments and sounds inspired me to merge my RnB world with the world of Afrobeat. Out of that came “Admit It”. It was fun getting back into full artist mode with the music video as well. I’m super excited and happy how well old fans and new fans were so receptive to it. That has let me know that everyone is ready for a new MH album. The album is turned in and I’ll be announcing its release date, along with tour dates and my very own documentary about my life: Music, Family, film, and future endeavors.
