Happy Thanksgiving from
What's In-Store Music

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, a time for families to come together from far and wide, sit around a table, and enjoy each other's company while giving thanks. What's In-Store Music would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge some folks we are thankful for, who helped make 2025 a success. A big thank you goes out to Steve Zanardi at Spectrio for his tireless energy, handling everything we bring to him calmly and patiently, even under the most stress-filled circumstances. Thank you to Shawn Cash and Dallas Osborn at Rockbot, who play an integral role in helping us bring you our Gym Program and more. Thank you to Joel Denver, CEO of SonicTech.ai, for his friendship and guidance. You'll remember Joel as the founder and owner of All Access, the #1 Information Destination For Radio for 28 years, and the official home of The What's In-Store Music Charts. Thank you to Codi Quick, owner of Quick Business Resolutions, and Julia Loucks for keeping us on our toes and organized. To Raymond, Kristine, and Samual Relojo, we couldn't do this without you. To Brian Esquivel, thank you so much for posting our charts each week on All Access. Thank you to David Helfant for being the calm in the storm this year. Thank you to all the labels, management companies, and strategic partners for entrusting us with all your In-Store music marketing needs. I am forever grateful for your continued support. Thank you so much to the artists, both new and returning, for creating such wonderful music, enjoyed by millions of people every day across the country. Last, but not least, I'd like to thank my partner in business and in life, Monica Emerson, who continues to put up with me year after year.

We want to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving from the bottom of our hearts.

"Ho Ho Holdin' You"

"'Ho Ho Holdin’ You' is my joyful tribute to love that feels like Christmas every day of the year. When I started writing this song, I wanted to capture that magical feeling of being with someone who brings warmth and happiness into your life, making it feel like a celebration, no matter the season.

The idea came from those moments where just being close to someone can feel as festive and special as the holidays. It’s about that unique person who sprinkles a little magic into your everyday routine—someone who makes you feel like it’s Christmas morning, even in the middle of summer.

The upbeat tempo and playful lyrics reflect that sense of joy and excitement. I wanted listeners to feel uplifted, just like the way love can lift our spirits. When I think of the holidays, I think of laughter, connection, and warmth, and I aimed to weave all of that into this song.

My hope is that 'Ho Ho Holdin’ You' resonates with anyone who has experienced that kind of love. It’s a reminder that the spirit of Christmas can live in our hearts all year round, as long as we’re with the ones we cherish. So, whether it’s December or July, let’s embrace the magic of love every single day!"

On Tour in New Zealand

Curb recording artist and What's In-Store Music favorite, Melanie Pfirrman, is living her best life and racking up some serious frequent flyer miles doing it. Last month, she was singing background vocals for Nichole Scherzinger at the Royal Albert Hall in London. This month, we find her in New Zealand, singing background with Doja Cat. She's doing all of this while promoting her own infectious single "Feet Are For Dancing" here in the States. Currently # 33 on the What's In-Store Music Chart, keep an ear out and Shazam handy, for the song as it plays overhead in retailers across the country.

Have a great week,

Scott Emerson
