There Is Still Time

With a week to go before Black Friday, there's still time to submit your song for the 10th Annual What's In-Store Music Holiday Program. Christmas Music has been lightly playing over the past few weeks, slowly building up to the Thanksgiving/Black Friday weekend. That's when the floodgates open and Christmas music takes over in retailers through the end of the year. To get your holiday song into rotation early enough to take advantage of the Black Friday spike, you'll need to submit it by this Friday. If you're ready, submit your song HERE.

It's Never Too Early

Flipping of 2025 to 2026 on wooden block cube for preparation new year change and start new business target strategy concept.

The 10th Annual What's In-Store Music Holiday Program is underway! Christmas music is starting to fill retailers nationwide, and within a few short weeks, that's just about all you'll be hearing overhead while you're out and about.

Now's the perfect time to start thinking ahead to January. Once the holidays wind down, stores transition back to current-based programming - and we want your music ready to roll when that happens.

If you'd like your new single to start playing as soon as the new year begins, we recommend submitting it to What's In-Store Music before the end of the year. That ensures playlists are set, loaded, and ready to greet shoppers and potential new fans as they hit the stores for post-holiday sales, exchanges, and those gift cards burning a hole in their pockets.

Got something you want to submit for early 2026? You can do it right HERE!

"The Christmas Tree"

Greetings all, Antherius here spreading holiday cheer now that November is near. I'm a one-man synthesizer-based composer, performer, arranger, engineer, and producer living in Cypress, Texas (just outside of Houston). 2025 finds us celebrating my 20th year as a professional musician."The Christmas Tree" was originally composed and performed by David Rose and his orchestra in 1968. It remained a familiar instrumental Christmas tune up through the late 1980's; although, it mysteriously fell out of significant rotation in recent decades. Yes, this is the same David Rose that composed "The Stripper" instrumental hit in 1962. My goal with this cover release was to produce a higher-fidelity track, along with updated arrangements, but however retaining key parts of the original hit so as to be recognizable by older folks like myself who remember the original tune. The main instruments include flutes, pizzicato strings, piano, and bells of course, rounded out with an electric bass, arco strings, various synth pads, and leslie-organ accompaniments.I hope you enjoy my production of "The Christmas Tree" and have a very happy and memorable Christmas season this year!

- Cheers, Antherius
