Memorial Day Is Next Monday!

Memorial Day is next Monday! Who’s ready for the long weekend? Retailers, restaurants, hotels, and entertainment centers are! Walk into practically any one of these places right now, and you’ll already see signs promoting Memorial Day deals, specials, and sales.

Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial kickoff to summer vacation and everything that comes with it. Families and friends will gather, shop, dine out, travel, and enjoy time together. And while all this is happening, What’s In-Store Music artists will be playing overhead in stores, restaurants, hotels, and entertainment venues everywhere.

The future hits of Summer 2026 are about to enter rotation, introducing customers to the new favorite songs they’ll be listening to all season long.

The question is… will one of those songs be YOURS?

The odds are probably not unless you get it to us this week, so that we can get it into retailers in time for the holiday weekend.

If you have a song you’d like playing this weekend and into next week, the time to act is NOW. Submit your music with What’s In-Store Music today!

Don’t wait, submit your song HERE today!

Sydney Sherrill

"God Bless LES"

"'God Bless LES' feels like a love letter and a side-eye to New York’s Lower East Side music scene at the same time. The song captures the frustration, chaos, and competitiveness that come with chasing recognition in indie music, while still celebrating the energy that makes those scenes special. With sharp lyrics and a fast-moving attitude, Sydney Sherrill turns nights of crowded clubs, opening acts, and scene politics into something catchy and relatable. It’s equal parts heartbreak, sarcasm, and downtown rock-and-roll spirit."
