"Break The Loop"

"'Break the Loop' is about struggling to break bad habits. The title came from the infinite looping videos on YouTube and TikTok that were eating up way too much of my time. We turned that concept into essentially a toxic relationship between me and the habit. However since writing the song, I've found ways to fill my time with much more fulfilling and productive activities. I'm proud to say this is a habit I managed to break. And we got an awesome song out of it."

Out & About with Jordan Frye
At The Hotel Café In Hollywood, CA 5/6/25
What a great night of music at The Hotel Café in Hollywood, where indie label Lauretta Records took over the main room for the evening. One right after the other, Lauretta artists took the stage, entertaining the crowd, leading up to the main event, the show's headliner, Jordan Frye. He was the reason we were there. What's In-Store Music has helped Jordan get his current single, Wildflower played in thousands of retailers across the country the past few months, and we were excited to hear him play live. What a treat it was, not just for the audience but for Jordan and the band as well. These guys appeared to really enjoy being up there. Jordan mentioned to me after the show that it had been a minute since he had played out, but you never would have guessed it. Jordan is a natural behind the mike, relating to the audience with his banter and his songs. When we finally got to hear Wildflower, the last song of the night, it didn't disappoint. It's sounds like a hit to us, that's for sure. Thank you to The Hotel Café, for great sound, Lauretta Records for being wonderful hosts and Lakeside Entertainment for turning us on to these terrific talent in the first place.
Have a great week,
Scott Emerson
