Let's Check In: What's New on What's In-Store TOO
If you've been out and about lately, shopping, grabbing a bite, or just passing through your favorite spots, you may have noticed some great new sounds playing overhead.
That's because we've been refreshing the mix on our What's In-Store TOO program, continuing to bring in new music that fits seamlessly into retail environments while still offering that "what's this?" moment for customers.
Let's check in on a few of the latest additions now playing:

Temper City
"Self Aware"
This one has been building momentum online, and it's easy to hear why. "Self Aware" blends alternative rock and indie pop into a moody, rhythm-driven track with a strong sense of introspection. It's the kind of song that pulls you in without overpowering the room, a great fit for in-store play.

Mary Sarah
"Reasons"
Mary Sarah leans into what she does best here, honest, emotional storytelling. "Reasons" is rooted in reflection and connection, carried by a warm vocal performance that feels both personal and relatable, making it an easy add to a wide range of environments.

AWOLNATION ft. Makua
"Catch A Wave"
There's real meaning behind this one. Written as a tribute to surfers lost at sea, "Catch A Wave" balances a sense of loss with something more uplifting and spiritual. Sonically, it carries AWOLNATION's signature energy, but with an added layer of depth.

Rob Tirea
"All Along"
"All Along" taps into a feeling a lot of people recognize, chasing something, only to realize the answer may have been there the whole time. It's reflective without being heavy, offering a steady, grounded vibe that works well in a retail setting.

Whipped Cream
"Collide"
Known for pushing emotional boundaries in electronic music, Whipped Cream delivers a track that feels both intense and controlled. "Collide" blends atmosphere with edge, adding a bit of texture and energy to the overall mix.

Kenzie
"sophie"
There's a quiet honesty to "sophie" that stands out. The song explores the gray areas of relationships, the undefined space between what is and what isn't, with a subtle, modern pop sound that resonates, especially with younger listeners.

Paper Money
"Pretty Faces"
"'Pretty Faces' came from a place of nostalgia, those late nights, reckless decisions, and the kind of memories that feel bigger than they probably were. The song reflects on chasing something just out of reach, whether it's a dream, a feeling, or a person, and realizing that sometimes the moment itself is the reward. There's a bittersweet edge to it, holding onto the highs while accepting the inevitable goodbye. We wanted it to feel like looking back on a chapter that didn't quite work out but still meant everything while it lasted."

Mother's Day 2026
When your mother is 96 years old and Mother's Day is coming up, you have a decision to make: have flowers delivered or deliver them yourself. For me, that choice was easy. The flight was booked, and off I went.
I took my mom on her favorite drives around town, to her favorite restaurants, and of course, no trip home would be complete without our annual beach photo. It didn't take much to keep her smiling and laughing the whole time, all I really had to do was show up.
Time goes by fast. Enjoy every minute.
