The What's In-Store Music Annual BOGO Event Is HERE!

It's back… and yes, it's one of our most popular promotions of the year. During the month of March, submit your first song at full price and get your second submission 50% OFF. That's right, TWO songs in the pipeline, serious savings in your pocket.

Here's the best part:

As long as both tracks are paid for in March, you have until July 31st to officially submit them. Got releases coming this spring or summer that aren't quite finished yet? No problem. Lock in the deal now. Reserve your spots. Submit when you're ready. Where else can you get a deal like that? Nowhere!

If you have questions or want to grab your BOGO slots, reach out to Scott Emerson at Scott@whatsin-storemusic.com

Here at What's In-Store Music we like to look towards the future. A great example is when we start teasing Christmas music in July. People laugh about that, but the truth is, Christmas may be in December, but holiday playlists, aside from a few exceptions for new songs from major artists, are curated and ready to go in early September! Artists participating in our annual holiday program know to get their songs to us early. Now that it's spring we are setting our sights on summer. If you've got a song, you want to be played in stores throughout the summer, submitting it now, will ensure that. As you put the rest of your marketing plan in place, we can get you thousands of impressions in advance. Some labels place songs with us months before their song's radio date. If you've got something you'd like warmed up before the summer months, you might want to consider submitting it with What's In-Store Music today!

 "Hey Hey, What You Say?!"

A spinoff of the fictional band “Pink Slip” from Disney’s Freaky Friday and its recent sequel, alternative rock band Hudson Rubin debuts their pop single “Hey Hey, What You Say?!” for What’s in Store audiences. The song explores themes of individuality, resisting peer pressure, and forging your own path in life. The band began as a side project for Freaky Friday and Freakier Friday cast members Haley Hudson and Daniel Rubin when they reunited during filming of the highly anticipated sequel. Their songs have also been featured on the soundtrack of Freakier Friday, used as background music in the film.

Out and About: Hudson Rubin recently performed as the fictional band “Pink Slip” at the premiere of Disney’s Freakier Friday, in which they are also featured as cast members. They performed the hit song “Take Me Away”, which is featured in both Freaky Friday and its sequel, on Hollywood Boulevard in front of the legendary El Capitan theater.

With Mattie Pruitt

2/19/26 at Analog in Nashville, TN

What's In-Store Music newcomer Mattie Pruitt lit up Nashville last Thursday with a sold-out show at Analog at the Hutton Hotel, celebrating the release of her infectious new single, "Hit The Road."

This rising star wowed the packed house, joined by special guests John Foster and Brandi Cyrus, turning the night into a full-on celebration.

If the energy in the room was any indication, "Hit The Road" is just getting started. So while you're out shopping, grabbing that latte, or pretending you didn't just impulse buy something you absolutely didn't need… keep an ear out and your SHAZAM handy. You just might hear Mattie Pruitt playing overhead at a retailer near you.

Have a great week,

Scott Emerson
