Tara Macri
"Gonna Get Loud"

As it climbs the What's In-Store Music Chart (currently at 31*), we thought we'd revisit this terrific tune from Tara Macri. Rising pop singer, songwriter, and actress Tara Macri has released her powerful new single, “Gonna Get Loud,” a bold anthem about resilience and empowerment. Produced by Grammy Award winning Kiyanu Kim and mixed by Grammy Award winning Chris Lord-Alge, the track combines soaring melodies and dynamic rhythms with heart felt lyrics that encourage listeners to find their voice and stand their ground.
Written by Tara Macri, Jaylene Johnson, and Mike Green, “Gonna Get Loud” channels the energy of speaking up and refusing to back down in the face of challenges.
“Gonna Get Loud” was born out of a deeply personal experience for Tara, inspired by supporting a close friend through a battle with cancer. “I wrote this song during a time when I felt completely helpless,” Tara shares. “It became a way to channel my frustration into strength—not just for myself, but for anyone who needs to fight for what matters. Even when words are all you have, they can still make a difference.”

Out & About with kylekelly

What a difference a few weeks make. The first time we saw newcomer kylekelly, was on February 7th, the night the LA fires started. It was at a We Found New Music w/ Grant Owen showcase at Hotel Ziggy in Hollywood, and it was only his second live show, EVER! We knew we were seeing something special at the time, a view shared by the rest of the room. Fast forward to March 18th, and this exciting new artist found himself in front of thousands of screaming fans as he kicked off his first night as the opening act for the Daniel Seavey - Second Wind Tour, in Dallas, Texas! What a night and what a great start to what is sure to be an amazing tour ahead. If you have tickets for one of these shows, be sure to arrive early to catch the kylekelly set. You will be glad you did, and while you're out and about, make sure to keep an ear out for his latest single, Pricilla, as it plays overhead in stores. Big thanks to producer Jeffrey David for introducing us to this talented young man.
Have a great week,
