To All Our New Clients, We Have a Christmas Program For You To Try

We know it seems crazy to talk about Christmas music right smack in the middle of summer. The truth is that the holiday season is fast approaching. It's time to remind you that our most anticipated event of the year is just around the corner, The 11th Annual What's In-Store Music Holiday Program! This unique program provides our clients with unparalleled exposure for their holiday music during the busiest shopping season of the year. That being said, there are still hundreds of you who have never submitted a holiday song with us before. As you know from using our service, we ensure that your priority songs are placed in the appropriate spaces for them to be heard. At Christmas time, the overhead music space is like the wild, wild west. EVERYBODY plays holiday music, allowing those same artists to be played in hundreds and sometimes thousands more locations than they'd otherwise be heard in. In the coming weeks we will provide you with helpful tips to get your holiday music placed and ready to go when the first retailers flip the switch to Christmas. News flash, it’s sooner than you think! If you have a song you’d like to submit now, you can go ahead and do that right HERE!

"Gotta Be Us (Be The People)"

“Gotta Be Us (Be The People)” was created as an anthem for everyday people making a difference in their communities. Rather than focusing on division, the song celebrates the idea that meaningful change begins with ordinary individuals who choose to help their neighbors, solve problems, and work together. Produced by five-time Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer Jason "Poo Bear" Boyd, the collaboration brings together artists from different musical backgrounds to deliver a message of hope, unity, and shared responsibility. At its heart, the song reminds us that progress isn't waiting for someone else—we're the proof that change starts with us.

Out & About

with Don Felder

Friday, July 17th 2026
At The Leader Bank Pavilion, Boston, MA

It was a beautiful evening on the Boston waterfront as excited concertgoers filled Leader Bank Pavilion to see the night's headliners, Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings, performing as The Guess Who in the United States for the first time since 2001. It's hard to imagine that the opening act for such a monumental occasion could deliver a string of hits comparable to, if not even more recognizable than the headliners themselves, but that's exactly what happened when Don Felder took the stage.

Best known as a former member of the Eagles and the man who co-wrote the music for arguably the band's signature song, "Hotel California," Don Felder brought the heat from the opening note until the moment he walked off the stage. He wasted no time launching into "Already Gone," followed immediately by "One of These Nights," setting the tone for a hit-filled set that never let up.

The performance also featured a stunning rendition of "Seven Bridges Road," showcasing the strength of both the band's musicianship and harmonies, before bringing the crowd to its feet with fan favorites "Life in the Fast Lane" and, of course, the iconic "Hotel California."

I've been trying to think of a better opening act I've seen at a major concert over the past several years, and honestly, I can't come up with one. Don Felder is a class act, a world-class guitarist, and an outstanding performer whose live show is something you truly have to experience to appreciate.

The good news? You won't have to wait long. Felder heads back out on tour throughout August and beyond, so be sure to check the tour dates below to see if he's coming to a city near you. If he is, don't miss him.

Have a great week,

Scott Emerson
