Tara Macri
"Gonna Get Loud"

Rising pop singer, songwriter, and actress Tara Macri has released her powerful new single, “Gonna Get Loud,” a bold anthem about resilience and empowerment. Produced by Grammy Award winning Kiyanu Kim and mixed by Grammy Award winning Chris Lord-Alge, the track combines soaring melodies and dynamic rhythms with heart felt lyrics that encourage listeners to find their voice and stand their ground.
Written by Tara Macri, Jaylene Johnson, and Mike Green, “Gonna Get Loud” channels the energy of speaking up and refusing to back down in the face of challenges.
“Gonna Get Loud” was born out of a deeply personal experience for Tara, inspired by supporting a close friend through a battle with cancer. “I wrote this song during a time when I felt completely helpless,” Tara shares. “It became a way to channel my frustration into strength—not just for myself, but for anyone who needs to fight for what matters. Even when words are all you have, they can still make a difference.”

Out & About with PTtheGospelSpitter

This week's Out & About, rather than highlight a live performance, we are treated to a look behind the scenes at the making of the lyric video for PTtheGospelspitter - Save Your Soul.
"I got up with my engineer/producer, Prodi Reign, in the studio, and we went to work. While finishing up the ad-libs and highlights for the song, I had an idea of doing a falsetto octave underneath the last verse. Prodi didn’t think it would flow sonically, but I asked him to indulge me on the idea. When it worked, his reply (with my management present) was, 'YOU THINK YOU’RE SMARTER THAN ME!' Yes, he yelled it, and yes, I IMMEDIATELY broke out into laughter. We also have a video of the whole ordeal, and we used some of the visuals from that work exchange in our upcoming Lyrical Video for 'Save Your Soul'.
The video opens with a reference to 1 Timothy 2:7 'And I have been chosen as a preacher and apostle to teach the Gentiles this message about faith and truth. I’m not exaggerating—just telling the truth.' It transitions to a full moon seen through woods with the song title Watch closely at the end for a clip of PT in the recording booth doing the final hook." - PTtheGospelSpitter
Have a great week,
