"Show Me"

"When people ask me about "Show Me", I tell them the story really came from the music first. I wasn't sitting there trying to write about my own situation or make some big statement. The moment Obie [the producer] started playing that main guitar part, I saw the story right then and there. The guitar felt intimate and honest. Once all the instrumentation was laid down, I fell in love with the track immediately. That guitar line carried a story on its own, and I just followed it. The lyrics came from what the music was asking for: clarity, intention, love that's proven through action instead of promises. I wasn't forcing meaning onto it, the song revealed the story to me as we built it. Show Me is about trusting that feeling and letting the music lead the emotion where it wanted to go. It's about honesty, vulnerability, and genuine emotional investment."
