It's Time to Get to Work on That Beach Bod!

Spring is coming… and more importantly, spring break is right around the corner. That means folks have about five weeks to whip that beach body into shape before heading off to some sunny, warm destination. Two things are happening right now that are great news for What's In-Store Music clients:
1) People are hitting the gyms
2) They're out shopping for swimsuits and vacation gear
Why does this matter? Because we place songs exactly where these folks are flocking to get ready. If you've got an up-tempo dance, pop, or alternative track that would fire up a gym crowd, head to our website, open the scroll-down menu, and select What's In-Store Too Playlisting. This flags your submission for high-energy playlists heard in thousands of gyms nationwide, as well as major big-box retailers.
For placement in clothing stores, restaurants, and other retail environments, use the Submit Music for In-Store Play tab.
Want maximum coverage? Bundle both.
When you do, we'll knock $150 off the total submission cost.
Let What's In-Store Music get your song where the action is.

"Good News"

"Good News took some valuable "creativity" time to become the record it is now. I wrote this song during a period of incarceration where I had the opportunity to increase my faith in YHWH (God). During this incarceration period is where I: learned the names YHWH, Yahshua, Elohim and Adonai from inmate led Bible studies (Salute Mane). My newfound knowledge of the names of The Most High made way for the song "Good News" and brought about an opportunity for me to sing it during prayer calls that were conducted on the rec yard. The brothers in Christ that were attending the prayer calls let me know that I needed to make sure to bring this song to life once I got home. That was easier said than done. We had to record the song two separate times. Originally with an entire different beat and vibe. Then with my current engineer/producer with more attention to being in a flow state with YHWH as I recorded (Salute Prodi). Hearing the difference in the recordings is wild. The first go round it just sounded like a good song. The second run feels more like the "Good News" record. Meaning the feeling is there now which I believe will aid people in getting into YHWH's essence/presence and allow the Good News to fill their hearts along with their minds."

Out & About
With Hudson Rubin

Hudson Rubin recently performed as the fictional band "Pink Slip" at the premiere of Disney's Freakier Friday, in which they are also featured as cast members. They performed the hit song "Take Me Away", which is featured in both Freaky Friday and its sequel, on Hollywood Boulevard in front of the legendary El Capitan Theatre. While you're out and about, make sure to keep an ear out and Shazam handy for another terrific Hudson Rubin song, "Hey, Hey, What You Say?!" as it plays overhead in retailers this spring.
Have a great week,
Scott Emerson
