Attention Christmas Music Clients
Attention Christmas music clients. The 10th Annual What's In-Store Music Holiday Program has begun taking submissions for the 2025 season. Programmers are already working on their holiday playlists. They are accepting holiday music, so they are ready to go in just over eight weeks! That's right, Christmas music will begin playing overhead in stores on November 1st, and it will just grow from there through the end of the year! if you'd like to learn more about our holiday program, then check out our holiday deck below. Out & About with The Imaginaries
Album Release Party at The Hotel Café in Hollywood, CA on Friday, August 22nd, 2025
It was an exciting night of music as Oklahoma duo The Imaginaries celebrated the release of their brand-new album, FEVER, which dropped that very day! Shane Henry and Maggie McClure played to a packed room of family, friends, and fans, all eager to hear the new songs live for the first time.
One thing that stands out immediately about this duo is just how thoughtful their songwriting is-they have a wonderful ability to transport listeners through their lyrics. Between songs, they shared stories about the writing and recording process, adding a personal touch to each tune.
A running joke throughout the set was about the album's brilliant guest guitarists, none of whom were there that night. Instead, the intricate parts were left to Shane to pull off… no pressure. Of course, he nailed every one of them.
Together, Shane and Maggie sang and played like they were born to do it. Their harmonies were beautiful, their musicianship spot on, and the new album delivered one strong song after another. Highlights of the night for me included the heartfelt sweetness of "Constant", the funky groove of "Wishing Well", and the driving energy of the title track, "FEVER."
