When I was writing music for my first Christmas album, I was brainstorming for ideas that haven't been done before. I realized that in every town I'd lived in there was always that one special house that everyone visited during the holidays, and everybody in town could tell you where it was, but no one had ever written a song about it. I turned to my husband and said, "I'm gonna write the song about that house. and I'm gonna call it "The House on Christmas Street!" Little did I know that eight years later it would be discovered online by a Christmas decorator who would synchronize his lights to it, and soon it would catch on with decorators all over the world. Now It's heard by hundreds of thousands of people each year when they bundle up the kids and bring them out to see "The House on Christmas Street" in their own town!- Judy
