Remember When Back-to-School Started After Labor Day?

Those were the days! But now, it seems like kids are heading back to school earlier each year. Sure, it might not be great news for them, but for What's In-Store Music clients, it's a big win.

With schools starting at different times across the country, back-to-school sales are beginning sooner and lasting longer. And those sales are exactly what we live for. Every time a shopper steps into a grocery store, pharmacy, clothing store, or office supply retailer, there's a good chance a What's In-Store Music artist will be playing overhead, setting the tone. More shoppers in stores means more ears on your music. If you've got a new track and want to take advantage of this seasonal surge, now's the perfect time to submit it. Get your music heard, submit your song today, right HERE!

"Campfire Symphony"
"I wrote Campfire Symphony a few months before the passing of my brother, who had struggled with addiction and homelessness. At the time, I had no idea what the song was about other than the fact that my son was hosting campfires in our backyard every week with his friends. At first, I thought the song was mostly a tribute to the magic of nature all around us, but It took on a deeper meaning just a few months later."

What's In-Store Music has added a new Spotify playlist called What's In-Store Music Hits The Gym. It features the fantastic artists and songs placed in the What's In-Store Music Gym Program. Please enjoy responsibly.

Descendants-Zombies Worlds Collide Tour
on July 22, 2025 in Anaheim, CA

The team at Disney Concerts have really outdone themselves bringing the worlds of Descendants and Zombies together in a great concert experience with the Descendants- Zombies World Collide Tour. This tour is a live, interactive concert experience with performances by Kylie Cantrall, Freya Skye, Malia Baker, Malachi Barton, Dara Reneé, Joshua Colley, and Mekonnen Knife  featuring music from "Descendants: The Rise of Red" and "Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires," . We were of course thrilled to learn Freya Skye, who’s songs “Gold’s Gone” and “Can’t Fake it” can be heard playing overhead in stores was part of the show, as she is one of the stars of Zombies 4, now streaming on Disney +.

Have a great week,
