I know it's our business, so we pay attention to it more, but Christmas Music is starting to play in stores. It's not as though it starts everywhere at the same time. The early birds have already started sprinkling it in, and it won't be long before you begin to hear it if you haven't already. As the weeks progress you will notice that it will begin picking up. It's up to the retailers to switch to holiday music on their own, which means by the time Black Friday rolls around, they will ALL be playing it. I heard my first few holiday songs last week in the big box stores and I got excited, because that means the 9th Annual What's In-Store Music Holiday Program has officially started!
