"On my way to the studio to work on some of my records. I had such a heavy heart because of some of the morning news, and I thought everywhere we turn, there's chaos, pain, and destitution. When I got to the studio I told my partner we had to write something to address this in our own way... Within 30 min we had a full song of 'Hope'. There's a saying, 'Necessity is the mother of invention' and that became so true with this song because it was one of the most effortless songs I've ever written and when we finished, we knew we had something so special that the entire world needed to hear and be reminded that although the world is under a spell of sorry and confusion, there's still "Hope". Each of us can turn the despair and pain around and began to shine light in this dark world through one kind act at a time. No matter what your situation is.. There is 'Hope'.
'Hope' is being considered for Grammy awards in the Song of the Year and Contemporary Christian categories. Proceeds from "Hope" are being donated to UNICEF USA, reflecting my deep commitment to philanthropy. I recently performed the song at the Forbes Philanthropy Summit, reinforcing my dedication to global causes. I also have an upcoming Christmas album featuring collaborations with iconic musicians, and I continue to advocate for the welfare of children through my partnership with UNICEF."

Out & About with MkX
Thursday, October 10th at Bar Lubitsch in Los Angeles, CA
It was another terrific WFNM (We Found New Music) showcase at Bar Lubitsch, this event's regular Thursday night venue. I was there for one reason, to see What's In-Store Music client MkX open the show. At showcases, the rooms often fill up with friends and fans from other artists yet to perform during the opener's set. One thing was abundantly clear, people who had no idea who MkX was before attending, walked out of there as fans. Along with his two dancers, this young energetic artist powered through a terrific set that had the whole place on its feet cheering, loudly, for him. Personal highlights for me were "Man On A Mission" (Playing overhead in retailers) and "Bright Side"(featured on Planet Fitness playlists). A big thank you goes out to Jennifer Lyneis at UE3 Promotions for turning us on to this rising young talent.
